We are growing

Soundtelling welcomes Sofia Embrén as new COO, as well as Camilla Fågelborg and Tanvir Mansur as new additions to the production team.

The podcast market is growing at a record pace and Soundtelling is following suit with new recruitments to our roster.

Sofia Embrén comes to us as our new COO, straight from Sveriges Museer, the Swedish Museum Association.

To her former employers Sofia can also list communications agency Prime Weber Shandwick, television production company Jarowskij, media conglomerate MTG and publishing giant Bonnier Tidskrifter, as well as being CEO for the diversity initiative Rättviseförmedlingen and one of the founding minds behind the newly opened museum Stockholms Kvinnohistoriska.

Camilla Fågelborg, who will be contributing to us as both host for our project Algoritmen (on behalf of public service broadcasters UR), and as a producer, arrives here fresh out of public service radio. During her five years there, she took on roles as producer, host and digital strategist in productions including P3:s PP3, Morgonpasset and Helgen i P3, as well as standing at the helm of the yearly multimedia charity production Musikhjälpen. On top of that, she is also a trained and active screenwriter for tv and film, and you might also have seen her doing stand-up comedy at Norra Brunn and Raw Comedy Club.

Tanvir Mansur will be joining us as our new junior producer after working on the lauded podcast Allt vi inte pratar om, a production about men’s issues and masculinity on behalf of the equality foundation Make Equal. Prior to that, he was an associate producer for the New York-based podcast Other Men Need Help and worked as a freelance writer and columnist.

We’re looking forward to working with the new members of our team and seeing all their wonderful contributions to Soundtelling in 2020.
