Maria Hansson Botin


Maria is a radio journalist at Soundtelling. Mainly focused on longer formats and storytelling she has produced several P3 documentaries and P1 documentaries for the Swedish public service radio. But she also has years of experience as a radio news reporter and as a researcher working with investigative journalism for the Swedish public television, Dokument Inifrån.

Her more recent works include P3 Dokumentär Bussolyckan i Sveg, P3 Dokumentär Hurricane Katrina and for Third Ear Studio, DOKland: Usama bin Ladins andlige rådgivare, telling the story about the senior al-Qaeda adviser and Usama bin Ladin’s close friend, who knew about 9/11 beforehand but is now living freely in the open in Mauritania.
